Well yesterday LuLU was 8 months old. And her little brain, I swear said, "I am 8 months old today, so now it's time to move forward with crawling." 3 times last evening, she went from her but to her tummy in reach of a toy. Then when she was on her tummy, she would push herself backwards with her hands. She was moving all over the kitchen. Nothing is safe anymore.
The flu has been going around in Daycare, and I thought we had been lucky. NOpe. Yesterday morning she really filled her pants, to where I could hear it. So I changed her, and she has kind of been spitting up more lately. She went down at 6 and at midnight I changed her into her pj's because she hadn't gotten up. She was wide awake, so I got her up to eat. Well she urped up all over me, her supper repeated itself. Ugh baby puke. So I took her down to nolan and changed. THen she filled her pants again.. Her diaper was so full, I am glad it was on tight, because we could have had major problems. We will see what today brings. Nolan is watching her while I go to Napoleon to Scrapbook. Watch out you may get a call from him for help, my blog followers. Well I must be in the road. I will post her 8 month picture this evening.

Baker's Man
Last night the girl and I spent some time together playing. She was clapping her hands, and every time I would say pat a cake she would clap her hands. They have been working on it at daycare. She also will wave, I think when you tell her too, or maybe she is just absently flapping her little wing.
Then she took her nuke and was putting it in my mouth, and just giggling. I thought she was going to pee in her diaper, she was laughing so hard. She is also getting very cuddly, and squirming like a worm when you try to hold her. She should take off any day with crawling. She does laps on her butt at daycare, and JoAnn says she is not quite sure how she does it. i am unsure too. She is by you one minute, and when you look again, she is across the room.

OMG
OMG, I am so full. I haven't felt this full since New Year's. And if you don't know, I ended up seeing my lunch again when I tossed my cookies. I think I had some kind of a bug then. We had way too much good food, thanks everyone!! We enjoyed the visit. I really didn't care who won. Not too much for good commercials. I guess everyone is feeling the crunch of the economy. Half time was nothing to brag about also. Bruce is so old, but he is very flexible. I did enjoy Faith and the Dream Girl lady, who just lost her mother, I think last name is Hudson, you know one of the American Idol winners. I guess this is the first performance since her family members were murdered. RIP. Karady seemed to enjoy the game and the company. She didn't go to be until after 9. Too much action. I think she pretty much sat on everyone's lap, and even jumped around in the Jumperoo for a short time. WE had a good day. Played pinocochle( I know that is not how to spell that) for a short time and came out of the whole to win!! WE ARE GREAT!! IN your face Paul!!. It was nice to see Dorothy Sannes again. She wanted to see Karady, so we went over for a few hours. My girl does like her mom. She cried for Paul when Tam and I went to the store.
Well I am so tired, and I have laundry all over the bed to fold, and guess what, no empty baskets. One more thing to put on the Walmart list. I have like 4 of them, but they all have stuff in them like toys, or other clothes to be put away. I really need to empty some out.

Pooh happens
Well we have had our baby girl for nearly 8 months now, with baths every other night. You do the math, because I am not very good at addition, but that is a lot of baths. I was thinking to myself that I can't believe that she hasn't pooped in the bath tub. Well the grand event happened today. I was bathing her, and I thought the water was getting pretty murkey. Sure enough there were little floaters. I looked at some of her toys, a blue dolphing in particular, and there was pooh on its tail. So out she came to the back of the real tub, (she still sits in her baby tub) and I dumped the brown/green pooh water down the drain, and she got another bath in the big tub. She wanted to touch her toys, and got mad when I wouldn't let her touch them. She liked sitting under the faucet and playing with the water. So after she was all dressed and cleaned, I took the trusty antibacterial wipes and gave her toys a bath.
Oh and she went to bed at 5:30 last night, and didn't wake up until 8 this morning. She must be growing . She really gets all of the kitchen. She was by the garbage cupboard while I was cleaning out the fridge, and before I know it, she was helping me. She does not like to have things taken away from her. She gets very mad.
Welcome Cassie to the wonderful world of blogs. I read your blog and it totally sounds like you.

2nd coming
Well it's official, the second central incisor has pushed it's way into the world. And as you can see, I even got a picture. She woke up with bright red cheeks. Even her nose was red. Dosed up with Tylenol again, because she was kind of crabby today. We went to church, because it was UMW sunday, and the ladies did the service. She was so good, but she is getting more vocal in church. I then had a meeting after, and she was so good. I am working on her Lifebook. It is hard, and I need to put more feelings on paper, as well as the facts.

Milestones
Who knew?? Today would be the day that LuLu proved to me she really can drink from a sippy cup well, including her milk. She had her first biter biscuit today, and of course made a huge mess. Luckily it was her bath night. She was biting off pieces and half choking, but she got it that she had to kind of chew on them to get them down. We had banans with cereal and sweet peas before lunch, with a forumula chaser. And after her one hour nap she had pears and sweet peas again for a sweet pea, and cereal. She ate so well. She was kind of crabby today, I think that she is pushing through the second tooth. We gave her some Tylenol, and she was in a much better mood.

Beating Heart
OK those of you who watch Gray's and Private Practice will know what I am talking about. So I was watching tonight, and when the little boy was dying, my heart actually hurt. When Bailey was telling the mother to hold him and tell him it was OK to go, I felt like I couldn't breathe. I guess that is what the love of this baby has done to me. I do cry a lot usually at many shows, but to actually not to be able to breathe. Wow. And then Private Practice had a baby that was going to be adopted and was born with a diaphramatic hernia, and the adoptive parents backed out because they couldn't handle the pressure of making the decision of what to do for the baby. I just thought about how very lucky we were that Karady was born with no defects and that she is perfect. Things can go so very wrong with births and it is a wonder that so many babies are born defect free. The birth mother decided to keep the baby then, but then reconsidered when the adoptive parents wanted to step back into the picture. It made me think about what our BM would have thought had we not stuck it out when we were going through the valley of hell. We showed her that we were there for her no matter what, even though things were falling apart all around us. I have read that indecision is OK and normal because it gives the birthparents time to heal and come to the right decision, and to see what is right for them.
I know I have thanked Tammi before but I would have never gotten through that day without her. She listened to me cry on the phone as my world was falling apart. THanks a million times.
Well enoughcrying for now.
